Friends I want to tell you about the latest answer to prayer.......
It starts more than 20 years ago, when I was in business and lost my first contract, I was getting deeper and deeper into debt and decided to return to employment. I was writing out C.V.s and threw down my pen, feeling what I was doing was wrong and I prayed to God. I said God, I feel I am making a mistake, but I have to feed my family, So unless you want to see me make a mistake, you have to help! As I was praying the phone rang, it was a man called Peter and he was asking me to export to 12 countries for his company. I had that contract for 17 years and it was a constant provision for me and my family, a real blessing and an instant answer to prayer.
Peter was not a Christian, but was used of God to bless us on numerous occasions. I spoke of God to him, he just talked about the computer in the sky.I said Peter, that computer is a person and has a name, its called the Lord your God!
Peter and I keep in touch on an infrequent basis and I heard through a friend that his daughter has been diagnosed with leukaemia and that it was very serious. I called their home and Ann Peters wife answered. She was so distraught that she could not talk to me or give me any details. I said that we would be praying, I told her not to worry, that all would be well.
I did not want to phone back, so I sent them an e-mail. In the e-mail I said that we would be praying for them and wrote down two recent testimonies where prayer had resulted in healings.
For weeks I heard nothing, I did not know the situation, but kept up a regular petition to God regarding the daughters condition and I upheld the family. I was disappointed, not to know, I did not care if I offended, I thought it was more important to pray for a favourable outcome.
2 nights ago, Yvonne my wife said you must phone Peter, so when Yvonne is certain of something I know that the timing is right. I called Peter, he said I was going to call you. He told me that when I phoned Ann Laura only had three days to live, the doctors wanted to stop feeding her and to withhold further medication apart from making her comfortable in her final hours. Peter said the evening before your e-mail arrived, I suddenly said to Ann, we will get something from Lynn tomorrow. After the e-mail arrived, the other of their two daughters began to see an improvement. The family asked for a blood test, at first the doctors refused, but then agreed to one final test. her score had been minus something, but that test scored five, the doctors could not explain it. The next test scored 10, then 15 then 20, then 50 and the score went to 150, when they declared there was no Leukaemia. Yesterday she came home to Peter and Ann, on sticks, weak and fail, but on her way back to a full recovery.
Peter said, I cant explain it I don't understand, but I know it was as a result of prayer. It was a total miracle to go from death to life with no input from the doctors,n it could only be prayer...
