Dear Treflyn,
What I am about to say no doubt you have heard many many many times.
After our conversation yesterday I put the phone down and proceeded to find my pain killing tablets and capsules which I should have taken at 12 noon but we had been out to the Fort shopping and had only just come in when you rang - I was in considerable pain when I was speaking to you.
On my way to the back room where I keep my medication I suddenly stopped and thought - No, lets see if the prayer to Jesus Treflyn had said would have any effect so I didn't take them. I have to tell you I have been pain free from that time to the time of writing this e-mail.
I have had pain 24/7 since the 22nd September 2009 - I have been given morphine and Neurontin capsules as well as Co-codamol - I am still having regular physiotherapy at the hospital.
The excruciating pain has ended, I still have a dull ache around the lower back - (buttock area) but its nowhere near as bad as it has been - I would normally have said it's "Autosuggestion" if it had happened to someone else and simply put it down to mind over matter but I know in my heart of hearts that the prayer to Jesus was answered - it is a feeling from within - its a warm calm feeling - it's a feeling of contact - it's a reassurance of faith and the belief in that faith that you have restored.
May God Bless you and the Blessing of Jesus Christ be with you always - you are a remarkable man with special qualities and don't you dare say that its simply the belief in God and Jesus Christ that is working (which it is) but I could have carried on pain ridden for goodness knows how long, but for your - yes your, intervention which brought relief in asking Jesus for that relief.
Whosever believeth in me shall have everlasting life.
